Harry Potter: Quidditch Championsalready debuted worldwide on multiple platforms, but the competitive wizard game still lacked a Nintendo Switch version. After a little waiting, we finally have a release date for the Nintendo console.
Quidditch Championsreleases on Nintendo Switch on Jun 14, 2025. This is exactly two months after it launched for other platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
Fortunately, Switch owners who want to try the new Quidditch game won’t have to wait much longer. The release schedule falls perfectly in line with Unbroken Studios’roadmap forQuidditch Championsin 2024. While a November launch means you could miss out on Halloween event rewards, there’s still some good news, as things should be up and running before the winter event later this year.
Speaking of the roadmap, there’s still more planned forQuidditch Championslater this year. This includes Season 1, aHogwarts Legacy-themed event, a new game mode, and much more. As for what’s already there,Quidditch Championsoffers fullcross-play and cross-progressionsupport, so playing this on the go won’t be a problem at all.
On other platforms where the Harry Potter game is live,there’s some positive sentiments floating about, but playercount numbers are a common concern among fans.Harry Potteris a major franchise, but the Quidditch Champions concurrent playercount on Steam hasn’t been that impressive. According toSteamDB, its all-time peak hit 6,574 players, and at the time of writing, only 945 players were playing.
