I understand thatGeometry Warsand its sequel, brilliantly titledGeometry Wars 2, are something of Xbox Live Arcade mainstays. I also understand that some of you might be disappointed to hear that Bizarre Creations is so busy working onBlurthatGeometry Warshas been rather unceremoniously kicked to the curb: “Right now we don’t have any plans for Geometry Wars 3 or anything,” said Bizzare Creations’ Gareth Wilson, speaking with Kotaku.
Now, I’m no game developer, but I’m sure just how much further you may really stretch a game about blowing up hexagons. Seems to me that Bizarre Creations have done pretty well for themselves, considering that there are already threeGeometry Warsgames, not to mention the teams is slap in the middle ofBlurdevelopment

But Wilson wasn’t totally dismissive: “That doesn’t mean that at some point (Geometry Warsdesigner) Stephen (Cakebread) won’t have a genius moment and will start working on it, but right now Stephen is working on all sorts of other projects.”
So dry those tears and hop back intoGeometry Wars— I’ll be busy filingGeometry Wars 3in the “sequels that nobody really needed anyway” folder.
