The big news of the week wasFacebook’s surprising purchase of Oculus VR, the company behind the crowdfunded virtual reality headsetOculus Rift. Naturally, the denizens of the Internet (over)reacted unfavorably, andMinecraftdeveloper Markus “Notch” Perssonpublicly pulled supportas a result of the announcement.

Frog Fractions 2developer Twinbeard is taking a more proactive approach to the news. Rather than ending development, the studio wants to buy Oculus back from Facebook. Of course, it will need the funding to do so, and with itsKickstarter campaignin full swing, it might as well crowdfund the buyback.
