The email sent to Dawko reads:

“Ok, here is some news for you, and you’re welcome to make a youtube video to announce it if you want!

I’m going to releaseFive Nights at Freddy’s 4on August 8thfor the 1 year anniversary ofFive Nights at Freddy’s.To keep the Halloween date special however, I’ll be working on a free update with extra content to release on October 31st. I also plan on having a trailer ready for next weekend!”

I think for a series built by one person, there are worse games to get angry at thanFive Nights at Freddy’s.In just a year the creator has managed to make four games with different gameplay, an interesting backstory and kept his audience actively engaged with the brand.

I’m more than happy to see where the series can go, so consider me excited forFive Nights at Freddy’s 4, even if I know I’m too much of a wuss to actually play it.
