The first ever footage ofPokémon Gowas revealed at SXSW by John Hanke, CEO of Niantic, the developer of the game.
This early first glimpse leaves much to be desired, as the graphics and gameplay seem rather dull. What happened to using yourPokémonto battle other wild creatures likeshown in the announcement trailer? Instead, it looks like you just toss balls atPokémonfaces until they are finally caught.
I’ll still givePokémon Goa chance when it releases later this year on mobile devices, but my hype has been all but destroyed.
