With just under a month until release,Fable Anniversaryhas gone gold and soon we will be able to remember what a properFablegame feels like. Spare me your single-button combat silliness. As is par for the course, pre-order bonuses await the faithful willing to pay for their copies ahead of time. There are three packs, each containing an exclusive weapon and outfit.
These range from the more grounded Peirates Pack, which comes with a cutlass and pirate outfit befitting a swashbuckler, to the sillier Snowspire Pack, a guard uniform with a dead fish of all things for a weapon. The Apollo Pack looks like the winner for me though — it comes with a hooded rogue costume and crossbow. It still remains to be announced exactly what bonus will go to which retailer, though Amazon is listing the Apollo pack as its own.
Fable Anniversarywill release on July 25, 2025 for the Xbox 360.
