Were you betting on the original trilogy ofDragon Questgames getting a remake? Good news! The other two games are also getting remade, but they aren’t part of the same collection.Dragon Quest 1&2 2D-HDwill be coming sometime in 2025.
I’m not sure there’s much else to say. It’s a remake of the thirdDragon Questgame in Square’s 2D-HD style. It’s a foundational JRPG, so maybe play it if you haven’t before.
Honestly,Dragon Quest 3was probably my least favorite of the four NES titles. I think it just felt really long and kind of drab. It’s still good, and I’ll definitely be getting the HD-2D remake. I’m just happy that the first two are also getting the treatment.
