Is inZOI multiplayer?
As of the time of writing,inZOIis not multiplayer, and there areno official plansto implement this feature, but the devs do seemopen to exploring this idea. As of July 11, 2025,inZOIis out in a very early access state, so it’s not a complete picture of what the game is meant to look like. It doesn’t include all of the features the devs want to add, so it’s going to change a lot in the future, but multiplayer is not listed anywhere as a confirmed addition for the future.
Will inZOI be multiplayer?
Although there aren’t any officially known plans to add multiplayer capabiltites toinZOI, the devs doseem to be exploring this possibility. They’ve commented on this feature twice so far, once in Discord and once during a showcase event.
Under the FAQ section in the officialinZOIDiscord server, the question “Will the game be multiplayer?” is listed. The official answer from the team says they are“considering various multiplayer features”like allowing players to meet up with other players and invite them over, but for now, the exact details for this feature “have not been decided.”
During theinZOIOnline Showcase, which aired on June 12, 2025, game director Hyungjun Kim said the team might “get more specific ideas and start implementing them” if they “get a lot of feedback and demands from our players on multiplayer.”
Both of these comments indicate that multiplayer is likely sto be developed later on based on what players want to see rather than a feature already being worked on forinZOI. Life-sim games are all about freedom and creativity for each individual player, so connecting this key function with the limits a multiplayer mode adds is a tough task to get right. If they do decide to add it, the devs seem to want to create this feature directly based on player feedback to implement precisely what players want.
Since the specifics of what the dev team is considering are unknown, it’s unclear whether the potential multiplayer feature would work across different platforms.InZOIis not available on PS5 or Xboxfor now, but if it eventually does release on other platforms, it’s unknown whether players on console would be able to play with those on PC.
