Catching ’em all, forever
Nintendo has released a new commercial forPokémon Sword & Shieldthat celebrates over 20 years ofPokémontitles converging on this point in time, preparing to come together for the upcoming Switch release.
In the ad, players are seen powering up Nintendo handhelds, including the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS and 3DS. This act draws out a variety of classic generation Pokémon, who then all convene in their respective sprite forms. The menagerie of characters then transform into their modernSword & Shieldmodels, ready for yet another round of epic exploration and exciting battles.
