MMO overlord Blizzard may have dominance over the market, but it can’t control its own secret documents. Blizzard’s plans for the next five years have recently leaked online, revealing expansions forStarCraft IIandDiablo III, as well as the name of a brand new game,Titan.
According to the leak,Diablo IIIwill release in the fourth quarter of 2011, at the same timeStarCraft IIgets an expansion and the Phoenix campaign. AnotherStarCraftexpansion will arrive in 2013, and new expansions forDiablo IIIare planned in both 2013 and 2014.
The long-awaitedWorld of Warcraftmovie is slated for the fourth quarter of 2012 while a newWoWexpansion will hit in Q2 of the same year. Yet another expansion will pop along in Q4 of 2013.
All this is bookended byTitan, a game about which we know nothing. Popular opinion claims it will be a brand new MMO, but I guess we’ll have to wait until we’re closer to Q4 2013, when the game’s due to launch.
So that’s a lot of stuff for you to think about.
