Getting a good jump shot animation for your MyPlayer inNBA 2K25will be extremely important.

The relevance arises even more in the early days ofMyCareer, as your MyPlayer stats will be towards the lower end of things. Scoring baskets will eventually become easier once the in-game stats improve. But having good animations is second to none. No matter which build you have, certain jump shots are better than the rest (or the default, in case you’re wondering).

Best NBA 2K25 jump shots for guards

Guards represent builds at 6 ft 4 and under, and you’ll want the very best jump shot animations possible. After all, you’ll be shooting a lot by being a guard. I have provided two choices – one for lower ratings and the other for when your MyPlayer improves his stats.

Best NBA 2K25 jump shots for Swings

Swings represent builds of heights between 6’5 and 6’9. I feel that the base option is pretty effective for swings, but here’s a good custom setup.

As an alternative, Michael Porter Jr. can be used for base, but his requirements are pretty high.

Best NBA 2K25 jump shots for bigs

If you’re like me and love the big men builds, use the following jump shots mentioned here. For now, I have used the same jump shots as swings, but this could eventually change in the future.

If you don’t have sufficient ratings, Bam Adebayo as a base could also work.
