Hunters Meta Builds Tier List
We’ve taken all of the builds inHuntersand ranked them fromS-Tier to C-tierbased on their stats and efficiency.S-Tier buildsare the best in-game, those which almost guarantee a win in any dungeon.A-Tier buildsare also very good, but have certain flaws because of which they cannot be described as OP.B-Tierbuilds can be used by more experienced players to their advantage, but aren’t as good as some others in-game.C-Tierbuilds are, in this case, essentially unusable.
Ultimately, it’s up to you to choose what aligns with your gameplay style – however, this is what we found to work the best. If you’re looking for an additional boost, take a look at ourHunterscodes list.
S-Tier Hunters Builds
Currently,staff buildsare without a doubtthe best in-game. Obviously, an Epic staff might be weaker in damage than a Mythic dagger, but ultimatelythe staff wins over because of the skills that accompany it. It’s a must to use theFireball skillwith your staff, since it deals long-range damage. A great perk as well is theHeal skillwhich, you guessed it, heals you at any time.
These two combined with a staff ranked Epic or higher are theOP buildin-game as of right now. For this to work, of course, you need toinvest your points in the Intellect stat. For more info on the stats, check out ourHuntersstats builds guide.
A-Tier Hunters Builds
Dagger buildsare the only ones in-game where you can havetwo weapons at the same time, meaning you cancombine various daggers– however, there’s adual-wielding dagger coming soon. If your thing is to go head-first in fights, the dagger is a great choice for you. Combine it with amaxed Agility statand you’re good to go. Keep in mind that the dagger issignificantly weakerif you don’t use its respective skills,ExecutionandDagger Stab(we have a slight preference for the latter). OurHuntersskills tier listgives a great insight on all skills available in-game.
B-Tier Hunters Builds
Sword buildsare, in a way,very basic. You have a sword, you slash enemies with it, and that’s about it. Make the best use of theBarrage skilland you’ll have a very decent weapon to make your way through the dungeons. If you’re into moreclose-range battles, then you’ll like theSword Thrust skill– but if you’re into that, justswitch to daggers. Obviously, both this one and the Greatsword builds are unusable if you don’tinvest points in the Strength skill.
Greatsword buildsare on the veryedge between B-Tier and C-Tier. The only thing keeping them from the lowest tier is theirdamage dealing. However, it takes quite some time to get to the damage-dealing part, since a build with this weapon iscrazy slow. ItsHorizontalandVertical Slash skillsare decent, but in no way faster.If you have the patiencefor this kind of build, then go for it – but we don’t recommend it. There’s way better weapons in-game, and ourHuntersweapons tier listshowcases them all.
C-Tier Hunters Builds
Hybrid buildsjustdon’t workin this game. Considering the fact that both staff and swords are dual-wielding weapons, it’simpossible to combine weapons. It also makes no sense havingskills that don’t work with your weaponof choice. That’s why youshouldn’t invest Ability points in multiple stats, but ratherchoose one that works best for youand max it out (with occasional points in Vitality). It’sbetter to reset your stats with in-game moneyif you change your mind than investing in everything a little and then struggle with mediocre performance from all weapons.
