Will feature a bestiary and mod support

Afterbirth, the expansion toThe Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, which was just released last month, already has some DLC being planned. This expansion of an expansion is tentatively being calledAfterbirth+.

Afterbirth+will of course feature some new bosses, new items, and new transformations. But the coolest new features include a bestiary and mod support. The bestiary will provide information about all the enemies Isaac comes across in the game, letting players know how many of them have been killed and how many times they have killed the player. I fully anticipate my spider-related deaths to reach triple digits.

The modification update will include a room editor, an animation editor to import your own art into the game, and Lua support. I don’t see myself using this personally, but it will be fun to see what other players can come up with! More information can be found onthe Binding of Isaac blog.
