Recodeis reporting that Amazon is gearing up to reveal their set-top box once again. Sources say Amazon is aiming to bring out their device in March. News of the set-top box have been going aroundsince late last year, and it’s said this will serve as a means for users to watch streaming content with ease similar to Apple TV and Roku.
Recode says the device will use Google’s Android operating system, but it’s not exactly known yet if the box will also double as a gaming machine of any kind. Amazon definitely wants to make a push into gaming,given that they just acquiredKiller Instinctdeveloper Double Helix Games.
