Better armor customization options
Local co-op support was thebig post-release additionforAlienation, but Housemarque is back with another free update for its twin-stick shooter, as well as some DLC.
As of today, you’ll now have Weekly Missions with “unusual rules” to tackle for rewards, and armor with customizable colors and different types of modifiers (e.g., “an armor that recharges your Rush faster, but makes Reload slower”) are now among the loot you can earn in the game.Alienationalso has a higher difficulty setting (Legend), a higher Hero Level cap, and six more Trophies.

On the paid side, Housemarque is selling a laser-ray secondary weapon (the Devastator) and a bouncing-projectile cannon heavy weapon (the Collapser); those are $4.99 together.
There’s also a $0.99Armor Paint Packwith three exclusive paints and the $4.99Veteran Heroes Packthat enables you to start fresh characters at level 15 with immediate access to World Level 2 (it’s sort of like new game plus). This DLC is all part of the season pass, if you happen to own that, but otherwise you can safely stick to the free stuff and have ajolly good time. That’s what I’d recommend, anyway.
