There’s a lot of stuff to get to!

It’s almost impossible to narrow down a top five list of most iconicMario Karttracks — but thisMario Kart 8 Deluxetrack list is doing a good job of showing us what’s missing.

Crafted by Azer_FR over on reddit, the list breaks down multiple games, and lists tracks that have and have not appeared inDeluxe. There’s even denotations for tracks that have been reused, or have never appeared again in any future game (and thus would be more ideal for preservation inDeluxe).

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track list

It’s interesting seeing everything broken down game by game. Itfeels likethere should be moreSuper Mario Kart/SNES tracks inDeluxe, but there’s only three! Nintendo better pump those numbers up eventually. I always had a feeling thatMario Kart Tourwas super represented, but seeing it on paper is something else.

Beyond that, everything seems to be pretty well spread out across the rest of the series. Maybe we could use some moreDouble Dash(especially since it has some unique tracks that haven’t seen the light of day again)? But other than that, Nintendo has given each game a decent amount of representation.

As a note, the red exclamation mark (!) icon denotes tracksthat were just recently confirmedto be part of “Wave 2” of the Booster Course [Season] Pass. We havefour more waves to get to by the end of 2023, so there’s plenty on the way.
