Thanks to the next-gen update ofFallout 4that rolled out in April, the long-awaited and unofficial expansionFallout: Londonhad todelay release. This was a sad time for those who were eagerly awaiting the DLC-sized mod, but it looks like good news is on the way.

In a recent post on Twitter/X, the team behindFallout: Londonhas said that they “have a new date.” That doesn’t really clue us in much, but it at least lets us know that a launch day is likely on the horizon.

We have a new date.Stay safe and remember. Mind the gap.

Diving a little deeper, a message on the mod’s Discord channel (as spotted byVG247) says the developer just has “one more I to dot and one last T to cross,” before it’s due for release. The message then goes on to say that “we are looking at a matter of days/weeks” and that fans should “stay tuned.”

Far out

Falloutaficionados have no doubt been paying close attention to this ambitious fan-made project, which tells the tale of a post-apocalyptic wasteland from the perspective of the UK capital city. We’ve had plenty of teasers about the mod, which promises new factions, weapons, as well as a slew of quests.

Fallout: Londonhad already been pushed back before, originally set to come out at the end of 2023. However, the team ultimately decided to delay release at that point so as not to clash withStarfield. With the launch of theFallout 4next-gen upgrade, it seems Bethesda has been getting in the way of the mod on more than one occasion, albeit maybe not intentionally.

At any rate, it looks as though the long, hard road is finally coming to an end.Londonsounds like it’s going to be a huge addition toF4, and the extra delay will hopefully be worth it in the end. I’m calling it right now: I think it’s going to be phenomenal.
