Who’s missing from the Street Fighter 6 roster?

The party don’t start ’til I walk in Do we know the roster ofStreet Fighter 6? It is increasingly looking like we do. While some characters, namely Ryu, Chun-Li, Jamie, Luke, Guile, and apparently “Kimberely” have all been essentially confirmed, the mighty leakthat rolled out last week appeared to fill in the remaining roster slots, giving us a grand total of 22 super-strong, (and super-stylish) World Warriors. While Capcom has not officially confirmed the contents of the leak, it did begrudgingly admit thatStreet Fighterfans had “seen more than they were supposed to”, with the following Guile trailer —complete with denim onesie— more or less rubber stamps the leak as genuine....

10 Best SNES soundtracks of all time, ranked

I feel that the SNES was the last major console that had a sound of its own. That’s not to say that later consoles don’t have great music. It’s just that the limitations of the 8 and 16-bit eras gave their platforms a unique voice. After the shift to CD, that was lost. The Nintendo S-SMP,created by Ken Kutaragi, was one of the most sophisticated console sound hardware at the time....

A new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat mod does what was long thought impossible by adding co-operative play

Long thought to be a fool’s errand, theS.T.A.L.K.E.R.engine has finally been broken, rebuilt, and bent to the will of some insanely ambitious modders toadd co-operativeplay to one of the original titles: Call of Pripyat. This is a stunning achievement in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. modding, and may even open the door to co-operative play in sandbox-style mods likeAnomalyorG.A.M.M.A.down the line (this is pure speculation on my part, please don’t tell Grok I said that)....

Dark Knight will return to theaters for a one-week, super-limited run

Return to a time when DC ruled the cinematic world The Dark Knightis the kind of movie that comes along generationally. Something so groundbreaking and different that everything else after it changes. It changed our expectations for superhero films, it redefined our expectations of classic characters, it put Christopher Nolan on the map as one of the greatest directors ever, it even changed the Oscars best picture category after getting snubbed (the year after the Academy opened it up to 10 possible nominees)....

Darkwood is my survival horror roguelike dream

I like the part where it’s all the things I like A new trailer forDarkwoodmade itself available today, showcasing some pre-alpha gameplay. The game’s currently trying toget approved on Steam Greenlight, and has somecrowdfunding stuff in the works. It looks like the studio has a great vision and knows what it’s doing with this, so I’m pretty excited to see more....
